HK With regards to the Dragon Style Kung Fu Association. I hereby state in writing, my apologies towards the memory of Grandmaster Lam Yiu Kwai and the Dragon system of traditional Chinese Kung Fu. A few years ago, I told a few of my students of the match between my father, Grandmaster Ip Shui and Grandmaster Lam Yiu Kwai, which took place many years ago in Hong Kong. I shared this story as an insight of how things used to be in Hong Kong, trying my best to make clear that the match was not so much a challenge, but rather a friendly exchange of skills, resulting in no winners or losers. I realise that in the sharing of this story, much exaggerated articles of the event have been published on the internet; resulting in the misrepresentation of Dragon Style Kung Fu, and Grandmaster Lam Yiu Kwai. For this I take it on myself to apologise in place of my students, and have instructed them to remove any said articles which still remain. I value the relationship between our two schools, and wish to make clear that no disrespect was ever intended, and if any has resulted it was due simply, to my students misunderstanding my broken English. I hope that there will no longer be any misunderstandings between our two schools, and wish the Dragon Style Kung Fu Association the greatest success in the future.
